Tillandsia straminea

when you order large size

T. straminea is another of the fragrant airplants. I paid less for this big chungus than for many of my small plants I bought locally.

Opened up quite satisfyingly after a soak. I have this hanging off the side of a hanging basket.

Sadly, rot took this one in lte November 2020. It never grew for me, so I suspect it came to me with some rot.
